Tasting Notes: The nose opens with lots of dark brown sugar, charred oak, and peanut brittle. That's followed by subtler notes of leather and pipe tobacco. As it sits, there are more savory notes of molasses cookie dough and toasted spices
The palate is rich and flavor-packed. Burnt caramel, pecan pie filling, and cherry wood dominate early. This is followed by a punch of cracked black pepper, sage, vanilla bean, and dark chocolate bark. Mid-palate heat is intense but clean, reminiscent of Booker's barrel-strength warmth. The pour is balanced by a touch of sweet cornbread and clove-studded orange peel.
The finish is long and warming, fading slowly with notes of oak char, nutmeg, and sweet tobacco leaf, giving you one last burst of flavor with the Kentucky hug.
